Bellmawr Senior Charged in Sex Crimes
A 66-year-old man is charged with exposing himself to two children and inappropriately touching one of them.
A Bellmawr man has been charged with exposing himself to two children on several occasions, as well as inappropriately touching one of them on one occasion, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office announced Tuesday.
William Gonzalez, 66, faces criminal charges of aggravated criminal sexual contact, endangering the welfare of a child and lewdness. He is also charged with a disorderly-persons offense of lewdness.
The incidents occurred beginning this summer at Gonzalez's home and ended this month with his arrest, according to the prosecutor's office.
Gonzalez was released after posting $50,000 bail.
Gonzalez worked for the Lawnside-based First Student School Bus Company, primarily as a yard man but he did occasionally fill in as a driver, the prosecutor's office said. He did not meet his alleged victims through his job.
