County Adds Flu Clincs at CCC Campuses

Residents who have yet to receive a flu shot can get one on Thursday at either the Blackwood or Camden campus of Camden County College.

With a worse than normal flu season continuing to drag on, the Camden County freeholders have scheduled two additional flu clinics for this Thursday.

Both clinics are being held at two of Camden County College's campuses on Feb. 7. The one at the Blackwood campus will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Connector Building. In the afternoon, a flu clinic will be held at 200 Broadway on the Camden campus from 2 to 4 p.m. Though the clinics are directed toward college students, anyone from the general public is permitted to attend.

“The best way to avoid getting the flu is to get immunized,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison to the Camden County Health Department. “We feel is it important to distribute all of the vaccine we have to the residents of Camden County.”
