Garwood Road Repaving to Begin

The Garwood Road project, as well as a few others, begins next week.

Gloucester Township Police Department on Thursday issued the following press release regarding upcoming roadwork projects on Garwood Road and elsewhere:

Beginning on or about Oct. 22, the milling and paving of Garwood Road will begin. This roadway improvement project will be between Winfield Road and Melissa Drive. Work consists of the installation of drainage, curbing and sidewalks in that area as well as the roadway repaving.

The project is not expected to be completed until around Dec. 5.

The roadway will remain open with an alternating traffic pattern in effect within the work zone. Drivers should use caution as workers and equipment will be in the roadway during construction.

What about some of the main roads like Jarvis, Erial, and others that have been horrible for a few years now. It has become way too expensive and inconvenient driving around here. Damage to car parts related to all the potholes and bad roads now exceeds $5,000. Fix the roads that we all use, not just those for a chosen few.

And
The County roads are the pits!
