Gloucester Twp. Man Indicted in Fatal Crash on I-676

Justin Poe was intoxicated when his speeding vehicle sideswiped another in the 2011 crash, authorities said.

A grand jury sitting in Camden County indicted a Gloucester Township man in connection with a fatal crash on Interstate 676 in Camden.

Justin Poe, 27, of the 2000 block of Barnsboro Road, was indicted on charges of vehicular homicide and assault by auto.

Poe was speeding while intoxicated on the highway on Nov. 5, 2011, when his Infiniti G35 sideswiped a 2000 Toyota RAV4, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, which announced the indictment Wednesday. The collision caused a fire in the rear of Poe's vehicle, and two passengers in Poe's vehicle were badly burned.

Charis Wilson, 22, of Marlton, died on Nov. 28, 2011, from injuries sustained in the crash. A 24-year-old Somers Point woman also injured in the crash survived her burns.
