Great Escape: Get Your Toes Ready for the Sand

Pedicures, sandals and your best girlfriends are all you need for this week's Great Escape.

There is nothing much better than a long, luxurious pedicure, shoe shopping and girl talk.

First, grab your best girlfriends for a Saturday afternoon away from work and the kids.

Then head over to the Rizzieri Aveda School in Voorhees Town Center for a fantastic pedicure. For $25, you can get a full spa pedicure—which will shape up your feet and entice your senses. Aveda products are all botanically based—the scent of flower and herbal extracts totally entice your senses.

All pedicures are performed by students at the world-known Rizzieri School—hence the fabulous price tag—under the supervision of an experienced teacher. The atmosphere is quinesstial Aveda—fresh, modern, clean and completely relaxing.

Of course you can't shove your newly minted feet into old sandals, can you?

After pedicures, head to at Voorhees Town Center for great shoe shopping. Now through Tuesday, buy three pairs of sandals and get 30 percent off your total shoe purchase—no coupon required. There are loads of gorgeous sandals on sale and clearance from Coach, Kenneth Cole, Bandolino, Nine West and more.

If you work up an appetite, Coffee Works, located right next to Rizzieri, offers healthy and yummy options like yogurt parfaits, salads and fantastic cold espresso drinks.

If you go, Rizzieri is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. While the school accepts walk-ins, appointments are suggested. Call the school at 856-988-8600.
