Man Arrested After Alleged Attempted Auto Burglary
Michael Mann of Philadelphia broke into Glendora Auto Repair early this morning, allegedly attempting to steal a vehicle, Gloucester Township Police report.
Gloucester Township Police arrested a suspect this morning for allegedly attempting to steal a vehicle from a local auto repair shop.
The suspect, 39-year-old Michael Mann of Philadelphia, was arrested shortly after officers responded to the activation of a security alarm at Glendora Service Center, located on the Black Horse Pike in Glendora. The police located a pipe that was used to break through a window. Surveillance video revealed that the suspect broke through the shop's window and tried to grab a set of keys that belonged to a vehicle in the parking lot.
Mann was found about a half-hour later walking southbound on the Black Horse Pike near the Route 42 overpass. After being identified as the suspect in the video, he was taken to police headquarters and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and possession. He is in Camden County Correctional Facility being held on $50,000 cash bail.
