Emile Escheman III, of Blenheim, NJ, passed away on Jan. 8, 2013, at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Annette (nee Daisey). Dear father of Betty Frederick (Alan) of Norman, OK, Charles Adams (Lucy) of Axton, VA, Nancy Wegmann (Russell) of Keller, TX, Karen Hicks (Adam) of Staunton, VA, and Kevin Escheman of Deptford, NJ. Dear brother of Joseph Escheman (Betty) of Somerdale, NJ, Robert Escheman (Nancy) of Sewell, NJ, Francis Escheman (Karen) of Cinnaminson, NJ, and the late Maryann Davis. Proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Escheman was a U.S. Army Veteran with four years of active duty service. He was a retired mechanic with the NJ National Guard in Bordentown, NJ, as well as a retiree of the Army National Guard with over 35 years of service. He enjoyed midget car races, riding his bicycle, and talking about how much he missed his black 1957 Chevy convertible. He was also a member of St. John Neumann Council # 1436, Knights of Columbus, Delran, NJ.

Viewing will be Friday, Jan. 11, 6 to 9 p.m. at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 11:30 a.m. where everyone will meet directly at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ 08012. (There will be no second viewing in the morning.). Interment will follow at Erial Cemetery, Erial, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the NJ Veterans Memorial Home, 524 North West Blvd., Vineland, NJ 08360. Condolences may be viewed/posted at the Earle Funeral Home website.
