The Camden County Prosecutor's office released surveillance photos Sunday afternoon of a person of interest in a bomb hoax that occurred in the Lawnside municipal building March 7.

The individual seems to be a white man between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall, and the images were taken between 7 and 7:15 a.m. March 7.

Around 8 a.m. on that day, a court clerk discovered a package in the elevator of the building. The device—a pair of road flares taped to two pipes—was designed to look like an explosive device. It was found in a bag addressed to Lawnside Mayor Mary Ann Wardlow written on it.

According to a press release from the prosecutor's office, the building was cleared and "the device was rendered safe by a disruption round fired from a robot used by the Camden County Bomb Squad about 11 a.m."

The same release said that the device did not contain explosives and the flares could not have been ignited.
