Hilltop Brothers, PA Man Charged in Glendora Burglary
Investigators charge the three men in a burglary that resulted in heavy police activity near Glendora Elementary School Wednesday afternoon.
Police have charged two Gloucester Township residents and a Philadelphia man with breaking into a Glendora home and stealing a safe on Wednesday.
The three men charged in the Huntington Avenue burglary are Hilltop residents Daniel Rollick, 21, and Matthew Rollick, 18, and Philadelphia resident Domenic Romano, 21, Gloucester Township Police Capt. Jeff Weiserth announced this evening.
Daniel and Matthew Rollick are brothers, according to police.
Daniel Rollick and Domenic Romano have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. Both men were released on their own recognizance.
Matthew Rollick was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and loitering to commit a drug offense. He was lodged in Camden County Jail on an outstanding warrant.
Police received a report of a burglary in progress on the 300 block of Huntington Avenue at 12:12 p.m. on Wednesday. Witnesses told police they saw the suspects leaving the home on the 300 block of Huntington Avenue with a small safe and other items, Weiserth said.
Police received information the suspects fled the area in a green vehicle.
A police officer spotted individuals exiting a car fitting the suspect vehicle's description near Station Avenue a short time after the Huntington Avenue burglary report, drawing a heavy police presence in the area of Glendora Elementary School.
Police detained several suspects who had exited the car at 103 Station Ave., according to reports, but further investigation revealed neither those individuals nor the car was not involved in the burglary, Weiserth said.
The Glendora school was briefly placed on lockdown as police took the suspects into custody.
The Rollick brothers and Romano were later arrested following investigation by detectives with Gloucester Township Police Department Criminal Investigations Bureau.
Weiserth identified the investigating officers as Det. Brian Farrell, Det. Michael McElroy and Ptl. David Sgrirnuoli.
