Police: No Serious Injuries in Crash Involving Bus

There were not any children on the school bus at the time of the accident.

No one sustained serious injury in a school bus-involved, five-vehicle accident on Jarvis Road Thursday morning, police said.

The accident occurred at around 7:23 a.m. near Jarvis Road's intersection with Pine Street, police said.

Officers arriving to the scene found a five-vehicle, chain-reaction crash involving a school bus, according to Gloucester Township Police Sgt. James Garber.

There were no students on the school bus at the time of the crash, which left three motorists complaining of pain. All three were treated at the scene, but declined transport to an area hospital, police said.

The bus reportedly had just dropped off students at nearby Timber Creek Regional High School.

A second minor accident occurred shortly after the first, but resulted in no injuries.

No tickets have been issued in connection with the accidents, which remain under investigation by the Police Department's Traffic Safety Bureau, Garber said.
