Police Seek iPhone Thieves

Two men steal an iPhone 4S from a Blackwood Clementon Verizon dealer.

Police have released surveillance video and photos of two suspects wanted in connection with the theft of an iPhone 4S from We R Wireless last month.

Gloucester Township Police Department posted the Crime Stoppers video and photos on its Facebook and YouTube pages on Tuesday in the hopes someone can identify the men.

The theft of the Apple smartphone from the Blackwood Clementon Road Verizon-authorized dealer occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, police said.

One suspect—described by police as a stocky, white male with a shaved head, thin beard and mustache—reached behind the counter and grabbed a black iPhone 4S, then concealed it in his pants. He was wearing a dark blue shirt with "POLO" written on it and jeans.

Police described the second suspect as a stocky, white male with short, blond hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and black sneakers.

Police ask that anyone who can identify the suspects or has any information about this incident call the township's anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at 856-842-5560 or police dispatch at 856-228-4500, or send an email to police@gtpolice.com.
