The first snowfall of the 2012-13 winter season hit Gloucester Township Wednesday into Thursday.

The storm was only expected to leave about 1 to 2 inches of snow and sleet on the ground by the time it wrapped up early Thursday.

Gloucester Township Patch snapped some shots from around Erial Wednesday night between 10:30 and 11:30.

Roads were slushy during that time frame, but might be slick if you're heading out early in Thursday morning's commute, so be careful out there, Gloucester Township.
