South Jersey Energy announced Tuesday that it has awarded a $1,000 grant to the choir at Camden County Technical Schools-Gloucester Township Campus.
The school's music program applied for and received one of 15 $1,000 grants from the South Jersey Industries subsidiary as part of its Energy for the Arts program, designed to support competitive arts programs for school-aged children.
The funding will be used to purchase new choir uniforms for competitions, according to choir director Jessica Thomas.
