Visions for Vacancies: The Former Blockbuster

What would you like to see in the former Blockbuster building in Sicklerville?

Most Blockbuster stores across the country have closed in the last few years.

The Sicklerville store was no exception.

The latest edition of "Visions for Vacancies" asks Gloucester Township Patch readers to share their ideas on what they would like to see go into the former Blockbuster store at 513 Cross Keys Rd.

What do you think?

Another video store?

An electronics store?

A jewelry store?

A pet store?

Maybe you have an "outside the box" idea to share with us all?

Whatever your thoughts, please share them in the comments section below. Just be mindful of what types of businesses are already open for business in the Gloucester Town Center and surrounding area.

I would love an out of this world yoga studio that offers every kind of yoga. Wish I could open one! Or maybe a Panera Bread, Barnes & Noble, Victoria's Secret, Trader Joe's.......I thought we were going to get some of those stores in the Shoppes at Cross Keys. What a disappointment that shopping center was. I would also like to see a Whole Foods or Wegmans around here. Tired of driving out to Marlton and Cherry Hill for good produce.

I don't know about Wegman's but Whole Foods or Trader Joe's may respond if you let them know there is a market for their product in our area.

How about a doggie daycare... People with high activity dogs that have them home all day I am sure would agree with me that it would save a lot of chewing and unwanted behaviors if they had a outlet for that energy when you couldn't be with them. They money you will spend to send them there you are already paying to replace items in your house that have been destroyed or soiled.. Think about it.. Your just spending money on preventative measures then replacing things.. ;)
