Dear Mrs Gilch, Mrs. Reese and Mr. Collins

I am well aware that you three are running for reelection I am curious though about your pamphlet and your slogan "Taking our Schools Back", what exactly does your slogan mean? As the incumbents you have them, don't you? You three have been on the Board for years, you have helped make all the major decisions in this District haven't you? Like the hiring of Bilodeau as Superintendent, Acerba as Curriculum Supervisor, Councilman Mercado in his new position for the district. You three have helped make decisions regarding curriculum for years, and even this hiring a firm to help Acerba do her job. You do realize the firm you hired hires retired teachers and Administrators to work for them. So with all the teachers, Supervisors and Administrators none were capable of doing the job including "Dr. Acerba? Wow that is a testament to this Board's ability to hiring qualified Administrators. What about Bilodeau you three hired him, even though you spent money to hire a firm to do a search for qualified candidates for Superintendent. You and I know Bilodeau wasn't one of their recommendations but you hired him anyway. A man with no classroom experience, a man who thought it would be a good idea to move Principals mid year last year. You three had to give your initial blessing to that idea Bilodeau wouldn't have sprung that on you without a discussion first. I mean 7 out 11 schools doing poorly and you didn't think that would be a major disruption to the building? Fortunately parents stepped in to help stop the move. You three have input on all major maintenance projects in the budgets, so when employees and residents complain about air quality issues at Mullen you chose to ignore that and install Solar Panels, really! The health of your students and employees didn't even come into consideration you were more worried about helping a vendor with political ties.
So with your slogan "Taking our Schools Back", I just need to know who are you taking them back from? The parents and residents that have started asking questions about some of the Board's decisions and practices? The legacy you three have left is 7 out 11 schools failing, political hires, hiring of Bilodeau, Acerba and Councilman Mercado, corrupting this Board with politics instead of staying independent and putting the children of this district first. Let's not forget your arrogance and rudeness to residents, parents and employees who dare ask questions regarding issues within the district and we won't even mention the slimy try by someone of trying to keep a resident off the ballot in the upcoming election. While I pretty sure none of you will answer my questions I thought I would ask anyway just in case there was an attack of decency.
