Compost is a local band consisting of Camden County College Professor Michael Billingsley of Haddon Township and his adjunct instructor colleagues in the Music Department: Rob Smith of Philadelphia, Pa.; Michael Ford of Philadelphia, Pa.; Christopher Slone of Collingswood; Jason Herrmann of Media, Pa.; and Jarred Antonacci of Philadelphia, Pa. They just finished recording – using CCC adjunct instructor David Downham of Collingswood as sound engineer – an album called “One More Day” that was inspired by Camden poet Walt Whitman's masterwork "Leaves of Grass."
