Erial 12's Win Little League District 14 Title!
The 2013 Erial 12's continue Erial Little League's domination in the 12 year old bracket winning their 6th District title in a row beating Blackwood 4-2 Wednesday evening!!!
Just another day at the park, both teams delivered a nail biter down to the last pitch. With Blackwood's loading of the bases following an intentional walk call by Erial's Coach Sarne in the top of the 6th and with two outs, faith was put in the hands of the boys to again deliver a solid defensive performance. Ya had to be there! Fly ball to deep left, catch, game over!
Congratulations to the boys for a 4-0 sweep of the District 14 bracket through the efforts of effective pitching, dominating defense and key offense to secure the title. Only a total of eight (8) runs were allowed throughout the complete District play for these boys!

In Coach Sarne's own words, "True Warriors!". A dedicated team that showed true sportsmanship and believed in each other and it showed.
