Girl Scout Troop 30447 Earns their Bronze Award

8 girls from Junior Girl Scout Troop 30447 recently hosted a summer bar-b-que themed dinner and Bingo night with home made prizes for the Gift of Life Family House located on 3rd Street in Philadelphia.  The Gift of Life Family House is home away from home for transplant receipients and/or their family members.
The girl scouts from Troop 30447 spent more than 20 hours planning their theme night, making home made crafts, food shopping, preparing the meal for an expected 50 residents and then setting up, serving, cleaning and playing Bingo and some other fun games with the residents.  The girls worked very hard and had a great time hosting the evening.
