GT Council Meeting

So what, if anything, happened at Monday's Gloucester Township Council Meeting?

When Gerry Lenfest assumes control of the Philadelphia Inquirer and the paper starts doing investigative reporting again, I think the Gloucester Township solar panel, Gloucester 42 Associates, and Connor Strong deals would make a fine story to kickoff their return to real reporting. And I don't think many reporters working there have much love for their ex-boss, the South Jersey King of Pay-To-Play. Anyone have Bill Marimow's phone number?

The Connor Strong things are different from the normal pay to play schemes in that they don't have to pay. They can play anywhere they want because Norcross is the boss. And let's not forget our engineers and the 1 day "review" of all those proposals.

Paul, it may be worth looking into how the guy beat Cantor in the primary with about 100,000 vrs. Millions.

Yeah, that $100,000 (which is also what I heard) has now turned into $200,000, but it is still quite amazing. Apparently this guy had no special backing of any kind but crushed Cantor and his $5 million. It's funny what can happen when the people get fed up; kinda like that whole sleeping giant analogy. While it is true that there's a sucker born every minute (most likely falsely attributed to PT Barnum), Abe Lincoln kind of qualified that when he informed us that you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Hopefully that time is near.
