Is this what passes as math?

If this is what your child is learning in place of math in the Gloucester Township school system, I suggest you get off your butt and do something about it.

You'd do well to use a pseudonym, Paul. You embarrass yourself. You just like to hear yourself talk - spend all day on Patch and call other people trolls. I responded to a post that I actually knew something about. You comment on everything just so people will "talk" to you.

How is it you know so much about me, factchecker, unless of course you are the troll that I say you are? I'm sure you responded to the post because you knew something about the subject so, go on, we're still waiting to hear what you know; and why not provide the facts to back up your claims, factchecker; you know, if that's not too much trouble.

It's amazing to watch the transformation of the machine apologists from concerned poster to personal attacker. You are pathetic. Different names same hackneyed message: all is well, we are great, you are wrong, you are stupid. But at the end of the day the lies are coming to light. Check the facts apologist.

I am amazed at how this post has degraded to personal attacks on people's character.

Posted plenty of real information in my first several posts before I got attacked by Patch regulars. I'm NOT part of the machine - the BOE and political machine in this township is disgusting and they are ruining our schools. They got rid of good people and good programs and bought new textbooks just because they had the words Common Core on them. They are focused only on test scores - look at the way they cut Life Skills classes and replaced them with keyboarding. This is so students can take the PARCC test on computers. I am NO defender or apologist for the machine here in GT. I'm a parent, a resident, and an educator who supports concept based math instruction and a good set of quality standards for teaching. Not testing, not NCLB, not Race to the Top and not the GTBOE.
