CHARITY EVENT TO RAISE FUNDS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST PREMATURE BIRTH AND PEDIATRIC HEART DISEASE
What could be better than having a day of fun with your family while helping make the lives of sick children and their families a little brighter too?
Kidzfest 2013 will be held this year from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 22, at Challenge Grove Park, 100 Borton's Mill Road (across from Croft Farms), Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
The event will be filled with fun family activities, like kids arts & crafts, carnival-type games, face-painting, kid-friendly food and other entertainment. Proceeds go to local children’s charities in the fight against Pediatric Heart Disease and Premature Birth.
“We started Kidzfest seven years ago and we have been able to raise over $150,000 for local children's charities focused on premature birth and pediatric heart disease,” said Lisa Hurly, a working mother of four young children who created Kidzfest after she lost her newborn son to heart disease. Her goal this year is to raise $50,000.
