New Year, New Opportunities: Learn About TICCC Training at Open House
Rewarding careers await those willing to invest as little as six months in occupational training offered by Camden County College.
The Technical Institute of Camden County College will hold an open house for prospective students interested in becoming qualified in any one of a dozen technical careers from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 9. The event will take place on the campus of Camden County Technical Schools in Sicklerville, where many of the training programs are offered.
Open house attendees will be able to learn about each of these programs: electrical and plumbing apprenticeships, automotive technology, automotive collision and repair, carpentry, certified/registered medical assistant, cosmetology, culinary arts/restaurant operations, dialysis technician, electrical technology, HVAC and water/wastewater management and welding. Registration is now open for spring courses in all of them.
Attendees also will have the opportunity to meet program instructors and TICCC staff. Tours of classrooms and labs will be given as well.
Instant admissions and enrollment will be available during the open house. Registering students also will have the option of signing up for a convenient extended-payment plan.
Course sessions begin at various dates this spring. Daytime and evening courses are available.
The open house will take place in the cafetorium of Building 4 on the Camden County Technical Schools campus at 343 Berlin-Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville, Winslow Township.
