“SPARE SOME LOVE” BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIP HOPES TO REACH $15,000 FUNDRAISING GOAL FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF SNJ

CAMDEN, N.J. – Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey (RMH) announced that its annual Spare Some Love bowling fundraiser will take place on Saturday, March 1st, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Pinsetters Bar & Bowl in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Now in its third year, the event is organized by RMH’s Teen Advisory Council, a group of local 34 high school students from 20 different high schools throughout the region who meet monthly to volunteer and fundraise for the Ronald McDonald House located in Camden.

Tickets are $15 and include one hour of bowling, shoe rental, snacks, and drinks. The event will also feature a raffle with prizes for events in the region as well as a special appearance by Ronald McDonald himself. This year, organizers expect nearly 500 people to attend.

“We are thrilled at how popular the Spare Some Love fundraiser has become in just a few short years,” said Rachel Koretsky, 21, of Yardley, Bucks County, who founded the Teen Advisory Council in 2011 as part of a class project at American University. “We hope to reach our goal of $15,000 which would make this our most successful fundraiser to date.”
