Bruce will be performing classic standards from Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and more. No stranger to this music, it has been running through his soul most of his life. This popular singer receives raves from coast to coast and Michael Feinstein, after hearing him perform in his NY supper club, said, “Eddie has a great voice and a wonderful stage presence.” Barbara and Scott Siegel called Eddie “A Triumph” in Talkinbroadway.com and said his “comic effect … will win you over.” They said in a review, “His stories are wonderfully engaging and his song selection is right on the money.”
A natural performer, whether Eddie Bruce is singing from the concert stage with The Philly POPS, the Hershey Symphony or Ocean City Pops or at a nightclub like Feinstein’s in New York and 54 Below, he instinctively knows how to engage his audiences. He is a popular media personality who was the original host of “Dancin’ on Air,” a popular TV show in the 80’s and a radio talk-show host for many years in Philadelphia. He has performed from coast to coast and is pleased to return to New York. He still is the leader of the Eddie Bruce Orchestra and plays at social functions and for some of the most important galas in the Philadelphia area with a regular appearance with this band at Paper Mill Playhouse’s annual gala event in the prestigious theater.
