Villa La Paws Pet Resort in Maple Shade Offers Free Pet Boarding and Daycare to Active Military Families

Villa La Paws, a top-rated, cage-free pet resort and spa based in Phoenix, AZ, is thanking active military families this holiday season by participating in “Operation Home for the Holidays.” From November 25, 2013 to December 6, 2013 and then again from December 20, 2013 to January 2, 2014, active members of the military and their immediate families can enroll their dogs in daycare or board them overnight at Villa La Paws in Maple Shade free of chargeall in an effort to make their travel hassle-free this holiday season!

 

“We are excited to give back to those currently serving our country by making travel for the holidays much less stressful,” said Mike Sinko, co-owner, Villa La Paws of Maple Shade. “We hope that through this program, folks will feel more comfortable going away to visit with their loved ones, both near and far, without worrying about their pets back at home.”

Villa La Paws in Maple Shade has accommodations for up to 10 dogs throughout the duration of the “Operation Home for the Holidays” program this holiday season. Reservations are required by calling 856-608-7833, and spaces will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. In order to receive free cage-free daycare and/or overnight slumber party service at any Villa La PAWS Resort individuals must be New Jersey active duty military personnel. Also, New Jersey-resident families that have an active duty military child, spouse, parent or grandchild who cannot make it home because of duty restrictions, or are in a hospital recovering from wounds or sickness that precludes them from coming home for the holidays are able to receive free daycare or overnight service.

Accommodations include fully supervised indoor/outdoor play areas where the dogs enjoy socialization together during the day, and indoor Slumber Party rooms where they sleep together on mats and cots. Also, 24/7 webcams throughout our facility, both inside and out so pet owners can watch online, and even accessible on your iPhone, Droid or iPad, while you are traveling.

 

Villa La Paws Maple Shade is owned by Cherry Hill residents and husband and wife team Mike Sinko and Linda Toogood. It is the first location on the East Coast and offers cage-free pet daycare, boarding and grooming. The 7,400-square-foot pet resort and spa includes five play areas – four for dogs based on size and temperament, with a separate room for young pups and petites, a room for cats, a cage-free grooming shop and two large outdoor play areas.
