Chews Landing Road Construction Next Week

Detours will be in place on this key Gloucester Township road next week.

The resurfacing of Chews Landing Road begins next week. The busy corridor will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting Monday, with a scheduled completion Friday.

Chews Landing Road will be re-opened every day at 4:30 p.m. to through traffic, then re-closed every day at 7:00 a.m.

Motorist should use Old Black Horse Pike to access all streets south of Chews Landing Road between Little Gloucester and Somerdale roads. All traffic in this area should follow detour routes.

The detour route for eastbound traffic is Black Horse Pike south to Coles Road to Hider Lane to Chews Landing Road. Westbound traffic will be detoured Chews Landing Road to Hider Lane to Coles Road to Black Horse Pike north.

Loring Flemming and Glen Landing Schools can be accessed from Little Gloucester Road at Coles Road.
