County Hosting Bowling For Troops Fundraiser

The fundraiser is April 12 at the Playdrome in Cherry Hill.

The Camden County Freeholder Board’s Office of Veterans Affairs and Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey invite you and your family to bowl for our troops.

“Join us for a fun day of bowling that benefits a great cause.  The proceeds from this event will used by Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey to ship care packages to our troops deployed in Afghanistan and those supporting Operation Enduring Freedom,” Freeholder Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs, said.  “Let our brave servicemen and women know that we appreciate their commitment and sacrifices with a care package you can provide by participating in this great event.”

The event will be held on Saturday, April 12, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Playdrome Bowling Alley in Cherry Hill, located at 1536 North King’s Highway.  Your $10 donation includes bowling shoes, two hours of bowling, a large pizza and unlimited soda per lane.
