Democrat Committee Distributes Easter Baskets

The Gloucester Township Democrat County Committee submitted the following press release:

This past Sunday, the Gloucester Township Democrat County Committee delivered Easter food baskets to families in the township.

As part of the organization's ongoing efforts to support families in Gloucester Township, the committee was able to deliver Easter food baskets to 27 families. This drive is in addition to the committee's annual Thanksgiving basket drive.

With help from Sysco Philadelphia, LLC and local donations, Gloucester Township Democrat County Committee was able to provide complete Easter dinners that included a ham, fresh eggs, fresh carrots, 5 lbs. of fresh potatoes, corn, string beans, corn bread mix, cake mix, and additional pantry items of soup, pasta, and rice to each family.

Supporting the community is something the committee has done for years, and is committed to doing for years to come.
