Local Fire Departments Collecting Goods for Sandy Victims

Drop off food, blankets and clothing at the Erial, Lambs Terrace or Chews Landing fire stations.

The Chews Landing, Erial and Lambs Terrace fire departments are seeking the public's help getting much-needed food, clothing, and supplies to the victims of last week's Superstorm Sandy.

Erial Fire Department and Lambs Terrace Fire Co. are working together as part of a countywide effort to collect items for Sandy victims. That effort has already resulted in a shipment to support 200 displaced North Jersey residents who are currently staying in motels in North Wildwood, according to Erial firefighter Steve Schwegel.
