“Orphan Train” by Christina Baker Kline

A community service position helping an elderly woman clean out her home is the only thing keeping Molly out of juvie and worse.... As she helps Vivian sort through her possessions and memories, Molly learns that she and Vivian aren’t as different as they seem to be.

Hula in the Coola Day is a day for those longing to escape the winter doldrums to laugh at the cold with a luau party. Put away your winter coats, get out your shorts and flip flops, and say “Aloha”. Join us for crafts and fun!

Book Bites…with Author Visit

Grades 6 – 12

Monday, Jan. 13, 6:30 p.m.

Come to the library for a book discussion with some delicious bites. Author Kristine Bowe will be joining us to discuss her book “SEERS.”  ~ “Leesie Felton…possesses the power to travel into layers of memory, manipulating her conquests as directed by the clandestine organization of Seers. When challenged by her latest mission, Leesie begins to question where her loyalty lies.” (Amazon.com) First eight registrants get a free copy of the book.

Techy Tweens

Each month we will host a tech night at the library just for tweens. Gaming, apps,
