Speed Restrictions in Place on Turnpike, Parkway Due to Weather
Snow has begun to pile up Monday morning.
The snow storm is slowing down Monday morning's commute, as speed restrictions have been put in place on the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway, according to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's website.
The speed limit on the New Jersey Turnpike is currently 45 miles an hour in both directions between the Delaware Memorial Bridge in Pennsville and the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee.
The speed limit on the Garden State Parkway is currently 50 miles an hour in both directions between the Barnegat Tolls in Barnegat and the Asbury Park Toll Plaza in Tinton Falls, and 45 miles an hour between the Asbury Park Toll Plaza and New York State Line in Montvale.
