VIDEO: Gloucester Township Welcomes Special Olympics Torch

A few days before the Special Olympics begin, the final leg of the torch run came through Gloucester Township.

On Thursday, the Gloucester Township Police Department, Gloucester Township Mayor and Council, Chews Landing Fire Company, and the Gloucester Township Public Schools welcomed the Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg For the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games New Jersey.

The torch came nto the parking lot of Loring Flemming and Glen Landing Schools. There was a short ceremony supporting the volunteer efforts of those involved and to show support for the Special Olympic movement.
