Erial Mom to Sign New Children's Book

Kristi Calderone will read and sign her book at the Malvern School of Erial Friday morning.

Kristi Calderone, an aspiring children's author, will be reading her first book, Fish Boogers, at the Malvern School of Erial, where her children are students, this Friday.

Calderone, an Erial resident, will sign copies of her book and take photographs with children after the reading.

The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

Calderone got the idea for her first book from her 5-year-old daughter, Alyssa, who goes to Malvern School with her sister, Lexi.

Sugartown Communications, of Paoli, PA, which does advertising for The Malvern School, offered the following synopsis of Calderone's Fish Boogers:

Imagine playing in the sun on a beautiful beach day when suddenly you feel slime between your toes! What could the clear goo possibly be? Children will be in stitches over this silly and entertaining story.

Paperback copies of the book are selling for $10. To purchase a copy for the event, get a check made out to "Kristi Calderone" to Malvern School of Erial, located at 2920 Erial Rd., Erial, NJ 08081. Include the number of books you are purchasing, the names of the children to which the books will belong, and an email address for your meet-and-greet photograph.
