Denny's Returning to Gloucester Township

Lumberjack breakfasts, burgers and shakes will be on the menu again when Denny's reopens in Gloucester Township.

Get ready for the return of the Grand Slam, Gloucester Township.

After being shuttered for two years, the Denny’s restaurant at 1410 Blackwood Clementon Rd. is set to reopen.

“If everything goes well… we’ll open on Nov. 18 at 2 p.m.,” says Ken Fitzpatrick, who currently works at a Denny’s in Turnersville. “That’s our target.”

Fitzpatrick could not release any more information.

Denny’s left Gloucester Township in 2010. The empty building was the subject of one of Gloucester Township Patch’s first Visions for Vacancies—the entry netted dozens of suggestions, many of them restaurants and several a plea for the return of Denny’s.
