Sen. Booker to Host Minority Small Business Forum in Camden

The forum takes place March 14 at the Camden Waterfront Technology Center on Federal Street.

U.S. Senator Cory Booker will host a forum for minority business owners in Camden to highlight federal resources available to help entrepreneurs and to discuss solutions for common challenges to small business creation, growth and stability.

The forum takes place March 14 at the Camden Waterfront Technology Center from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. The Camden Waterfront Technology Center is located at 200 Federal Street in Camden.

The Freeholder Board is looking forward to partnering with Sen. Booker on this initiative by having the Camden County Improvement Authority at the event to participate in the dialogue and assist business owners.

“Giving small businesses the tools they need to succeed is key to the economic recovery of Camden City, and in turn the economic growth of the county,” Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr., liaison to the Camden County Improvement Authority, said. “I applaud Senator Booker for fostering small business by hosting these discussions.”

The Camden County Improvement Authority is the economic development arm of the county government.
