Article Written by Lourdes Emergency Medicine Chair Published in Major Medical Publication

Alfred D. Sacchetti, MD, FACEP, chairman of Emergency Medicine at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, had his article titled, “Emergency Department Care of Atrial Fibrillation & Hospital Charges,”published in the July 13, 2013 issue of the medical publicationPhysician’s Weekly.

Dr. Sacchetti has been named a “Top Doctor” in emergency medicine multiple times by SJ magazine, including in its 2013 issue. He is also a recipient of the 2010 Lourdes Health System Healing Spirit Award. Board-certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Sacchetti joined the medical staff of Lourdes in 1985.

Dr. Sacchetti is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.  He has received numerous awards for his work in emergency medicine, including the Heroes in Emergency Medicine Award by the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Inaugural Clinician of the Year by Thomas Jefferson University, and the Joseph A. Pacera Community Benefit Medical Professional Award.
