Chris Fifis Joins Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Board of Trustees
Moorestown, NJ – Chris Fifis of Lumberton recently joined the Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice as a member of their Board of Trustees, announced Samaritan President/CEO Mary Ann Boccolini.
Currently, Fifis in involved in business development for the Hardenbergh Insurance Group, working with businesses to identify the proper insurance coverage and best employment practices to protect them from potential risk in the future, as well as helping businesses form strategic partnerships that add value to their operations.

Prior to his work at Hardenbergh, Fifis served as a sales executive for Cook Maran & Associates, one of the top privately held insurance brokerages in the region. He also served as the managing partner at Ponzio’s Diner – a 450-seat diner located in Cherry Hill and one of the oldest eateries in South Jersey – for more than seventeen years.

Fifis currently serves on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Restaurant Association. Additionally, he is a strong supporter of The Cooper Foundation, where he has served as a member of their Board of Trustees since February 2012. After losing his father to lung cancer, Fifis was also a vital part of his family’s creation of the Jim Fifis Lung Cancer Research Fund, which has raised more than $150,000 for cancer research to date.
He received his bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from Philadelphia University. Fifis currently resides with wife and two children in Lumberton, NJ.
