5 Things You Need to Know for the Week of June 2

1. The Municipal Council meets for a work session Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Hall. Agenda items include a discussion about new sidewalks on High Street in Blackwood. The entire agenda is attached to this story as a PDF.

2. The Parent's Club meets on Wednesday: "Whether they are 6 or 36, our children present us with joys and challenges daily. Parent Club is a unique opportunity for us to share,  support and gain insight about the issues currently affecting our families. No registration necessary. 3. Chews Landing Middle School eighth grade trip to Dorney Park on Wednesday.

4. 2nd Annual Todd Baldino Memorial (TBAA) Golf Tournament Friday at Valleybrook Golf Club, with 7 a.m. registration, 8 a.m. shotgun start; $125 per golfer includes golf, two hours beer/soda, lunch and silent auction and prizes. 5. On Saturday, Relay for Life cancer-research fundraiser is an eleven-hour, overnight event in which participant teams run laps around a track for donations. It will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday and end at 7 a.m. on Sunday at Veterans Memorial Park on Chews Landing Road at the Municipal Complex.
