N.J. Aid for Animals is teaming up with The Auction House of Audubon for an event to raise money by appraising antiques. Attendees may bring small items such as jewelry, coins, porcelain and small furniture for appraisal on Saturday, April 27, from noon to 3 p.m. at 100 W. Merchant Street in Audubon.

For a $10 donation for each appraisal, antique owners can get their items sized up by Marty Cobb of the Auction House.  Cobb is an expert appraiser of antique furniture, fine arts, decorative arts and collectibles, particularly toys and dolls. All proceeds go to NJAFA to help abused and neglected animals.

NJAFA is an all-volunteer, animal charity with a focus on impoverished communities.
