CCMUA Project to Close Another Gloucester Twp. Road

This week, it was Little Gloucester Road; next week, it'll be Erial-New Brooklyn Road.

Beginning Monday, Erial-New Brooklyn Road will be closed so that improvements and repairs can be made to an existing Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority sewer line, police have announced.

This closure will occur between Berlin-Cross Keys and Jarvis roads. The closure will last until Friday, July 20, at approximately 5 p.m. 

Erial-New Brooklyn Road will be impassable between the closure points during this time. Access will be limited to residents and businesses located in that area.

The marked detour route for northbound Erial-New Brooklyn Road will be Berlin-Cross Keys Road to Williamstown Road to Jarvis Road, according to Gloucester Township Police. The route for southbound Erial-New Brooklyn Road will be Jarvis Road to Williamstown Road to Berlin-Cross Keys Road.  

Police advise motorists to plan accordingly for expected delays.

The upcoming closure on Erial-New Brooklyn Road is part of a long-term construction project that will impact traffic throughout certain areas of Gloucester Township for the next several months. During the current week, the project is taking place along Little Gloucester Road.

Gloucester Township Police Department's Traffic Safety Bureau will be sending out weekly traffic alerts to keep residents and motorists informed of changes and upcoming road closures.
