Five Things You Need to Know

South Jersey's biggest regular-season wrestling meet happens Saturday.

1. Timber Creek's wrestling team travels to Camden Catholic Saturday for the biggest regular-season wrestling meet in South Jersey this year.

The Chargers, ranked No. 1 in South Jersey in the latest Courier-Post poll, take on the Fighting Irish, ranked No. 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

2. The Highland boys' and girls' hoops teams finish their playoff pushes this week. The cutoff date to be in the top 16 of the Group III playoff standings is Monday (it was supposed to be Saturday, but due to a host of snow-outs, the date was pushed back to two days).

The boys' team finds itself at 6-8 going into today's 4 p.m. matchup at home against Cumberland. The Tartans topped the Colts, 48-44, back in early January.

The boys travel to Pitman Saturday for a noon showdown with the Group I power, then host Schalick at 4 p.m. Monday.

The girls' team (7-9) hits the road today to face Cumberland at 5:30 p.m. in its final game before the cutoff date. The Lady Tartans were scheduled to play Clayton Friday, but the game has been moved to next Thursday.

3. The Census Bureau will likely release local data for New Jersey sometime today or Friday. Check back with GloucesterTownship.Patch.com for the township's facts and figures.
