Get to Know the Blackwood Lake Advisory Committee

The Blackwood Lake Advisory Committee submitted the following press release regarding its upcoming open house:

Blackwood Lake Advisory Committee (BLAC) will hold its Fourth Annual Open House on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This event will be held at the Gloucester Township Senior Center located next to the Gloucester Township Municipal Building on Chews Landing Road. The public is invited to attend.

BLAC spokesperson Paul Beyers explained, “Representatives from Gloucester Township government, community and civic groups will be reporting on current projects and activities. Officers from local groups including the Lions Club, Kiwanis, Old Pine Trust, Rotary, Historical Society, Environmental Commission, Business Advisory Committee, Mainstage, Blackwood NPP, and Green Team will be on hand to discuss their missions. We encourage interested members of the public to join us for an evening of information and updates on what’s happening in our community from a civic perspective. Take this opportunity to talk with a representative and share your ideas.”
