Rec Department to Show 'Ghostbusters' for Halloween

Gloucester Township Recreation Department shows the '80s movie on Oct. 27.

If you're a child of the 1980s, it's pretty much a given that you've seen Ghostbusters.

This weekend, Gloucester Township Recreation Department will provide you with an opportunity to show your own children the classic '80s movie on the big screen.

Come out to the Gloucester Township Recreation Center Saturday at 4 p.m. for a Ghostbusters party. The movie gets underway at 5 p.m.

The best part? It's a free event open to all!

The Recreation Department asks that anyone attending the free event bring along a canned good for donation to a local food bank. If you have any questions about the event, call the Rec Center at 856-435-5734.

Oh, and be sure to bring a blanket or beach chair.

The New York City-based comedy about three scientists who rescue the Big Apple from ghosts, ghouls and goblins was released in 1984. It stars Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis and Dan Aykroyd.

Ghostbusters is rated PG.
