UPDATE: Repaving of Davistown Road Delayed

The road project now will begin next Tuesday.

UPDATE, 9:37 a.m. 7/26: Police announced this morning that the Davistown Road project will not begin until Tuesday, Aug. 2. It is expected to last through Aug. 5.

A repaving project on Davistown Road is expected to cause traffic delays this week.

The milling and repaving of the road, between Lehigh Avenue and the Black Horse Pike, will begin Tuesday and will continue through Friday, July 29. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. 

The road will be passable with an alternating traffic pattern. Motorists should expect delays during the project, police said, and should seek an alternate route.
