The road will be closed to eastbound traffic between Somerdale Road and the Black Horse Pike, in the township's Blackwood section, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. both days, police said.

Eastbound traffic will be detourned south on the Black Horse Pike to Old Black Horse Pike, which leads back to Chews Landing Road.

All businesses in the construction zone will be accessible by Chews Landing Road's westbound lane, police said.

Lower Landing Road will also be closed between the Black Horse Pike and Chews Landing Road during the two-day project.

Police will be stationed at detour points to direct traffic. There also will be additonal patrols of the area to assure motorists follow traffic laws.
