Single-stream recycling is coming to Gloucester Township—but should the town spend more than $88,000 to promote it? The question sparked a fierce debate among readers. 

Elsewhere, there was cause for celebration in the schools this week as Timber Creek celebrated its 10th anniversary. But there was mourning as well, for Glendora crossing guard Sharon Kirscht, who died of cancer.

Also this week, a couple of alleged criminals didn't display the best judgement. According to police, one stole a bike immediately following a court date, while another stole a running car while drinking a beer and talking on a cell phone.
