This concert brought to you by the Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Camden County College was initially rained out. It has been rescheduled for Thursday August 8, 2013 at the track on North Park Drive in Pennsauken.
The opening act is the All Star High School Jazz Quintet of the Audubon Conservatory of Music under the direction of Tony Salicandro and his staff. Following their performance, Nasir Dickerson and his Renaissance Messengers of Jazz will take the stage at 9 pm. The Annual Camden County Summer Jazz Series is partnered with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Local Arts funding project.
"Culture has a home in Camden County," says Sandra Turner-Barnes, Executive Director of the Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Camden County College. "This summer concert is free and all are invited to enjoy the smooth sounds of jazz on August 8th."
