Highland High School Students Raises $1,200 for Food Bank of SJ

Gloucester Township students raised money to help needy families.

The Spanish Club at Highland Regional High School has finished another successful year raising funds for the Food Bank of South Jersey.

They beat last year's record of $1003 and raised $1,248 in three weeks this year.

The Food Bank helps feed more than 200,000 families in South Jersey and sells a salsa made by Campbell's Soup from surplus peaches. The students each received a jar for their efforts.
