The third annual township day of service on the King holiday produced a list of achievements.

By all accounts, the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday in Gloucester Township was a true success.

The third annual township day of service on the King holiday produced a list of achievements, including:

·         363 registered volunteers (82 signed up on Monday)

·         500 Peanut Butter Sandwiches made (400 for Cathedral Kitchen, 100 for The Neighborhood Center in Camden)

·         17 large boxes of shoes donated and boxed

·         30 bags of leaves from Lake Mathilda

·         Three large boxes of new hats, gloves and scarves donated and sorted for distribution in Camden

·         50 Giggles Books created for children in Pediatric wards in local hospitals

·         125 greeting cards created for our military personnel
