Historic Gabreil Daveis Tavern Tour Sunday

The Colonial-era pub is located in the Glendora section of Gloucester Township.

The Gloucester Township Historic & Scenic Preservation Committee will sponsor an open house Sunday at the historic Gabreil Daveis Tavern.

The Colonial-era pub, built in 1756, is located at 4th and Floodgate avenues in the Glendora, section of the township.

The free event, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., will also have a Victorian-era Santa who will be available for pictures with the children, carolers from Mainstage Center for the Performing Arts will be singing holiday songs and the tavern will be decorated with period Christmas decorations.
